Changelog – fixed because you said so
I read every single review and report, and try to ship a fix as soon as possible. This list only covers things that change how the tool works – design tweaks and site content are left out.
Much more accurate batch ETA
The estimate now models a fixed cost per file and per frame plus a cost per pixel, ignores files that already failed, and the progress strip is proportional to the actual work, so half the strip means half the work. In a mixed batch the average error dropped from almost 3 minutes to under 10 seconds; the panel also shows the percentage of the work done.
Insta360 Ace Pro and other cameras with an incomplete HEVC header
Some cameras write HEVC files whose header has no profile or level ("hvc1.0.0.L0"), which browsers refuse. The app now repairs the codec description from the stream itself and processes these files normally, and no longer wrongly blames missing Windows codecs.
Red recovery, Contrast and Saturation per scene
Three new controls in step 2. Each scene sets them automatically (and the panel shows them switch per video during a batch); move one to fine-tune, which applies to every video like the other manual settings.
Warmth
A cooler-to-warmer control in step 3, applied on top of the automatic correction and the same for every video. Neutral by default and remembered in your browser.
Correction panel shows each video's own settings
In Auto every video gets its own scene, strength and smoothing. While a batch runs, the Correction panel now switches to the values of the file being processed (and is locked, because the batch keeps the settings it started with); afterwards it returns to the selected file.
Finished-videos grid stays compact; player shows when it is loading
Only two rows of finished videos while a batch runs (three when it is done), with a Show all button. The player opens instantly with a loading indicator and ignores repeated clicks while a large file opens.
Batch overview fits hundreds of videos
The per-video progress strip now wraps into rows, so large batches fit the panel while long clips stay visibly longer. Failed videos turn red and cancelled ones yellow, with the reason on hover.
iPhone: safer saving and exact error steps
If the browser's storage refuses a write, the app now retries with a second write method and finally keeps the video in memory, instead of failing. Every error names the step it happened in (reading, decoding, colour correction, encoding, saving), and the browser check can run the real pipeline on the first 3 seconds of a video.
No more red cast in dark wrecks and caverns
Bright openings and red fins no longer drive the colour measurement in dark scenes, so dark rust stays dark instead of turning deep red. Normal reef and blue-water footage is unchanged.
Info line always matches the video being processed
During a batch, resolution, length and frame count under the preview now describe the file that is running, not the one selected earlier.
Clear message for empty or cloud-only files
Files that are 0 bytes (OneDrive, iCloud or Google Drive placeholders not downloaded yet) or cut off mid-recording now say so, instead of a generic "could not read the file index" error.
Live results while the batch runs
Finished videos appear in the preview column as soon as each one is done – with a thumbnail, size and scene, a play button that opens the corrected video right away, and Save/Download where needed. After the batch: totals, where the files are, Download all, and any failed files with a one-click error report.
5.3K GoPro clips no longer crawl on Macs
New Output size setting (default: up to 4K). 5.3K sources are delivered as 4K H.264, which encodes several times faster than 5.3K HEVC. If a file is slow or stalls, the app now says why and how long it will take.
Large files in browsers without folder access (Brave, Firefox)
Desktops without the folder picker now stream each finished video straight to the Downloads folder instead of filling the browser's storage quota.
Files with irregular timestamps are accepted
Recorder apps and variable-frame-rate clips could fail with "Timestamps must be monotonically increasing". Output timestamps are now kept in order automatically.
Real error instead of "cannot close an ERRORED writable stream"
When a write fails (no disk space, storage quota, locked file) the app now tells you the actual cause, and on phones it checks free storage before each video.
Sunbeams no longer turn red
A highlight guard keeps bright pixels neutral: red can no longer exceed green and blue in sunbeams and sparkle.
Phones and iPad
Android with Chrome works; Safari on iOS 17 or newer runs in beta. Finished videos get a Save button that puts them into Photos or Files. 4K is downscaled automatically if the phone's encoder cannot handle it.
HEVC clips on computers without a hardware decoder
The app no longer requires hardware decoding. If only software decoding is available it continues, slower, and explains what to install (Windows: HEVC Video Extensions) to speed things up.
Batch ETA and speed class
A live estimate for the whole queue, measured from the running average, plus a per-file progress bar.
Shallow / hazy water preset
Milky snorkelling water (tuned on UAE footage) is detected automatically and corrected with capped contrast and saturation so sand stays natural.
Deep-blue preset
Open-water clips with almost no red get a gentle correction so the water stays blue instead of turning purple.
Per-video scene detection
Every queued clip is analysed separately and shows its detected scene; output settings stay the same for the whole batch.
Launch
Free underwater color correction in the browser: WebCodecs decoding, WebGL correction with temporal smoothing, batch processing, 4K60 and 10-bit sources, audio copied unchanged, nothing uploaded.
