A free Dive+ alternative for dive video
Dive+ is a capable app. If you have hit its limits – the watermark, the paid tier, the phone-only workflow – here is what the Nordrift browser tool does differently, and where Dive+ still wins.
Dive+ in short
Dive+ is a diving community app with one-tap color correction for photos and video. The free tier adds a watermark and limits how many clips you can correct per day; a subscription lifts the limits.
What Nordrift does differently
| Dive+ | Nordrift | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free tier; subscription for full use | Free |
| Watermark | Yes on the free tier | Small tag, free to switch off |

| Resolution | Phone-limited | Up to 5.3K and 4K60, 10-bit, full resolution |
| Batch | Limited clips per day on the free tier | Whole dive at once, each clip analysed separately |
| Privacy | On device | Nothing leaves your computer |
When to stay with Dive+
If you want logbook, community and photo correction in one app on the phone, Dive+ is a good fit. For a full dive's worth of 4K video, free and without a daily cap, the browser tool is faster and costs nothing.
Switching takes two minutes
- Copy the clips to a computer (or open the tool on Android).
- Drop them into the app.
- Press Start – the output is a normal MP4 next to the original.
Facts about Dive+ come from its public store page and website in October 2026 and may change. Dive+ is a trademark of its owner; Nordrift is not affiliated.
Frequently asked
Is Nordrift really free, unlike Dive+?
Yes. There is no paid tier. The tool is funded by voluntary donations, and the optional corner tag is the only 'marketing' it does.
Can I use it on my phone like an app?
Android with Chrome works today; iPhone with Safari on iOS 17 or newer is in beta. On a computer it is faster and handles 4K60 and 5.3K.
Can I import my Dive+ results into Nordrift?
You can run any MP4 through it, but correcting already-corrected footage over-saturates. Use the original clips.
